Week 7 - Posture, Balance & Weight

This drawing above is really good, it has a good sense of depth and light. It shows the weight is being put on the stool, even though the stool is not really relevant in this sketch, but it has to be said that it is badly drawn. Moving on, The tonal values are great, it can be seen that it is very thought out as the muscles very visible and the shapes of the arms and legs look quite good. It can be seen most of the back and side part are the most lightest values because the source of light shining onto the model. and coming quite of a dark value as it gradually comes towards the stomach and groin area.

This is a fairly nice posture as the it can be seen the model is putting most of the weight on the left leg. The legs are drawn quite good in terms of shape and muscle tone. A nice foreshortening on the elbow there but could do with a little more work in terms of detail and shape. The fingers look rather "sausage-like" and could do with an improvement. however, the tonal values are quite good as the light source is mostly shone at the back of the anatomy and the the dark value on the front.
